A Peek at Our Week

We had a great week in kindergarten!  Zero the Hero visited us on Wednesday to celebrate the 20^th day of school!  He helps us understand the place values of tens and ones.

 We learned the word a sounds like short /u/ in the word up.  We also learned the popcorn word my as in “my, oh, my!”

 We learned characters can be:  animals or people

                   setting:  place a story happens

 We can now recognize and make the sound of Rr and Tt.  We had fun dotting our Rainbow Fish….they are hanging in the hallway
